1-DAY Motivational Interviewing

The 1-Day Motivational Interviewing workshop is based on the latest edition of Miller and Rollnick’s book Motivational Interviewing. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based therapy that teaches an organised way of helping clients who are reluctant to make changes to improve their health. The workshop focuses on how to engage in a conversation about change, assisting people who are struggling to identify or make changes, and helping clients develop a constructive plan for change. It also teaches how to respectfully respond to client resistance to change.

What You Will Receive

  • Engaging, evidence-based content and practical tools to apply MI effectively.
  • A 12-page workbook with a comprehensive outline of the theory that underpins Motivational Interviewing, step by step guidelines when using MI, and key takeaways.
